- Experience in professional, non-internship software development
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Experience in embedded development in C/C++
- Experience in development in the last 3 years
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

What the job involves
- As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a core member of a software team developing Ring's next generation of camera-centric devices
- You'll add significant new features and integrate with new hardware and software services
- You will be responsible for managing your personal backlog, prioritising issues and diving deep into technical issues
- In this role, you will lead the design of features and initiatives across the organization. Your main focus will be on firmware development of platform components for upcoming Ring battery-powered devices, on Linux and/or RTOS based SOCs
- The team are responsible for developing and delivering firmware for Ring's camera-centric devices - new products, supporting existing devices, and adding new features. We're a large team with sites in Europe and Asia as well as stakeholders in the US
