Duties and Responsibilities:
Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and standards
Ensure local site conditions are assessed before work begins
Prepare a traffic control plan that meets fundamental signage principles and GSTR standards
Communicate traffic control plan details to all personnel in the construction zone
Evaluate and adjust the traffic control plan based on local conditions, using sound technical judgment
Ensure inspections are completed immediately after initial installation to confirm proper implementation
Ensure Tool Box Meetings are conducted before each installation and each removal of construction signage
Ensure missing or damaged signs or devices are replaced immediately
Maintain documentation related to the traffic control plan, including all related correspondence and observed issues
Plan and coordinate flagging teams and accessories such as lights and other equipment required on job sites
Assign flaggers efficiently according to operational priorities
Ensure installation procedures are followed
Maintain inventories of signage panels
Monitor traffic patterns and adjust traffic flow as needed to reduce congestion and improve safety
Plan weekend and holiday sign inspections
Handle the fabrication of custom signs
Assist with other related tasks as required
Requirements:

Completion of the NBCSA flagger training program

GSTR training
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Relevant experience
-
Bilingualism is an asset

Strong communication skills

Physical ability to perform the duties
-
Valid driver’s license
-
Ability to design using Invarion RapidPlan
