We are seeking a creative, service-focused awards and matters senior advisor to join our Clients & Markets team. The role is responsible for leading Canadian matter collection and league table submissions and supporting our awards program and matter promotion.
This role requires a high level of organization, an ability to deliver under tight deadlines, and an innovative thinker who strives to improve processes and increase efficiency. Strong interpersonal, communication, and reporting skills are key, as this role requires ongoing engagement with partners and colleagues across the organization.
You will be focusing on:
- Matter collection: Lead the Canadian matter collection process. Liaising directly with the practice, gather and report on relevant matter details, and ensure efficient storage for broad organizational use. Support continuous process and technology improvements to increase consistent reporting and reduce the time and effort required. Serve as main point of contact for the matter details database, providing training and escalating technical issues.
- Awards program: Oversee and execute annual and ad-hoc external award submissions. Manage internal outreach, support submission drafting and event attendance, and liaise with award sponsors.
- League table support: Manage external submissions, internal data review, and data reconciliation. Track submissions and ranking releases and develop communication plans. Suggest process improvements to increase the accuracy and efficiency of data collection and reporting.
- Matter promotion: Support the promotion of our work and lawyers internally and externally, working with our communications and web teams.
- Reporting: Produce regular reports analyzing matter collection to inform internal stakeholders of trends and insights. Contribute to developing and managing dashboards to share operational activities, efforts, and outcomes. Support other Clients & Markets projects as required.
What you bring to the role:
- 4+ years of experience in marketing, business development, or a related role within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Bachelor’s or recognized technical college degree in marketing or business is an asset.
- Proven experience creating and socializing best practices in data collection, management, and reporting.
- Strong writing and reporting skills, including data analysis and visualization.
- Ability to build credibility with internal stakeholders and develop a strong network across the organization.
- Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset, able to incorporate industry best practices and firm resources to deliver creative solutions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm.
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset but not required.

Vancouver Salary: $74,928.00- $121,758.00. Salary will be discussed and negotiated during interview and will be based on experience.
