Position Overview:
We’re hiring a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerkto manage invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliation. You’ll be a key part of our finance function—helping ensure accurate billing, timely payments, and clean books.
The wage range for this role is $20 – $25 per hour, depending on experience.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Preparing, issuing, and posting customer invoices accurately and on time
- Monitoring AR balances and following up on overdue accounts
- Applying customer payments, credits, and adjustments promptly
- Reconciling customer accounts and resolving billing discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate records of transactions and customer communications
- Supporting month-end close activities related to accounts receivable
- Producing AR aging reports and assisting with cash-flow tracking
- Communicating professionally with customers regarding billing and payments
- Supporting the accounting team with reporting and administrative tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar accounting role
- Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Clear, professional communication and customer-service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) is an asset
- Collections experience is preferred, but not required
