The Project Coordinator Intern will work closely with Project Managers and Project Coordinators to assist with day-to-day project activities and gain exposure to project planning, timelines, and reporting.
What Will You Do?
- Assist with entering new orders and performing data entry in internal systems.
- Support the tracking and maintenance of project data and documentation.
- Assist with organizing project files and ensuring documentation is properly stored and updated.
- Help prepare documents required for supply contracts, including Vendor Data and Document Requirements (VDDR).
- Support the team in monitoring project timelines and milestones.
- Assist in updating project tracking tools, including spreadsheets and Gantt charts.
- Help prepare basic project progress reports and summaries.
- Participate in project meetings and assist with meeting notes and follow-ups.
- Support the Project Managers and Project Coordinators with administrative tasks.
- Assist with general coordination activities for ongoing projects.
Qualifications:
**Education:**Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Gantt charts or project scheduling tools is an asset.
- Experience with Adobe software is considered an asset.
