Position Title
Operations Coordinator, Academic
Position Summary
The School of Health and Wellness is seeking a full-time Operations Coordinator to join their team from April 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027. This position is conditionally funded with the potential to be extended with the renewal of grant funding. The Operations Coordinator, Academic is responsible for coordinating the business operations of the designated school. The Operations Coordinator, Academic acts as a liaison between the academic and service areas across the institution as well as external stakeholders, to carry-out the schools’ strategic priorities. This position supports the Operations Manager in ensuring effective and efficient business operations across their portfolio.
Position Responsibilities

Collects and analyzes enrolment, timetable, financial, and other data, and makes recommendations for operational decision-making.

Runs administrative and financial reports that provide the school with direction and guidance for planning and decision-making.

Maintains the confidentiality of personal information in accordance with RDP
policy, standard practices and the Protection of Privacy Act (POPA). -
Under the guidance of the Academic Operations Manager, monitors operating and personnel budgets for the school.

Coordinates and monitors budget transactions within the scope of authority and resolves issues as they arise.

Monitors project planning documents, including developments, deliverables, timing, and selected project budgets.

Prepares related written documentation, including project plans, scheduling updates and revisions, proposals, and business cases/plans.

Coordinates and manages the assignment of office space for all faculty and staff within the school in consultation with the Dean, Associate Deans, Operations Manager, and Campus Management. Completes access requests for keys, computer access, banner access, as needed ensuring administrative resources are arranged for employees.

Coordinates the creation and posting of content for the School of Health and Wellness social media accounts. In partnership with marketing, raises the profile of the school.
Required Qualifications

Three (3) year undergraduate degree, three years of university or equivalency in Business or related Field of Study

Three (3) years of experience
-
Proven ability to determine priorities, be self-directed, and work with minimal supervision
-
Ability to work in a dynamic, ever-changing, fast-paced environment with multiple demands, competing priorities and numerous deadlines
-
Experience with analyzing and reconciling complex budgets, contracts, other documents, and data
-
Excellent interpersonal, relationship building, and conflict resolution skills
Preferred Qualifications
-
Four (4) year undergraduate degree, or three (3) year undergraduate degree plus one full additional year of university in a related program
-
Experience with Banner and Cognos is an asset
-
Post-secondary work experience is an asset

Starting at $62,965 Annually
Benefits and Compensation Information
An additional 15% of the hourly rate in lieu of vacation, statutory
holidays and benefits.
