About the role

This position will assist the Department that they are assigned to.

Assisting as necessary in preparation and implementation of departmental initiatives; Working on assignments and projects that will improve the processes and procedures within the Department; Acting as backup for Department Consultants/Specialist; Other duties as assigned by the Director or Manager of Department.

Currently enrolled full-time at a post-secondary institution in a certificate, diploma or degree program, and returning full-time as a student in the fall of 2025. Preference will be given to candidates in a field of study related to the SIGA property and hiring manager's business unit's needs. Experience in the fields of Communications, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Procurement is an asset. Experience in managing small initiatives is an asset. Experience in research and analysis is an asset. Experience working with various computer programs such as Microsoft Office.
