Kluane is seeking to add an Analyst/Associate to the team.

Role Overview & Responsibilities: Support a team of experienced finance professionals in originating, structuring, and executing M&A, debt advisory, and equity advisory transactions for privately owned companies; Perform detailed financial analysis and financial modelling, including analysis of historical and projected results, working capital, capital structure, and credit quality assessment; Conduct company, industry, and market research to support transaction execution and business development initiatives; Assist in the preparation of pitch materials, confidential information memorandums, management presentations, and other corporate finance documentation; Support diligence and transaction processes, including virtual data room management, tracking stakeholder feedback, and responding to information requests; Review letters of intent, credit agreements, financing proposals, and related documentation to analyze pricing, structure, and key transaction terms; Prepare internal briefing materials summarizing transaction structures, valuation considerations, and financing alternatives; Support business development initiatives, including target identification, outreach to prospective clients, and relationship management activities; Participate in meetings and discussions with client management teams, lenders, investors, acquirers, and other counterparties; Help build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients and capital providers.

Candidate Profile & Requirements: Undergraduate degree in finance, business, engineering, mathematics, economics, accounting, or a related quantitative discipline; 1–3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate banking, commercial banking, private credit, private equity, transaction advisory, valuation, accounting, consulting, or a related field is considered an asset; Strong analytical capabilities, including proficiency in financial modelling and advanced use of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Demonstrated interest in corporate finance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and private markets; Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills, both written and verbal; Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment; Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail; Willingness to work in person in downtown Calgary (Monday–Friday) and, as required, beyond standard business hours.
