Position Description
The Department of Radiology at the University of Toronto is seeking a full-time academic interventional radiologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Provide high-quality clinical care in interventional radiology.
- Engage in teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Participate in research activities and contribute to the academic mission of the department.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical services in interventional radiology.
- Teach and mentor medical students and residents.
- Conduct and publish research in relevant areas.
Required Qualifications
- MD degree or equivalent.
- Certification in Radiology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent.
- Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and research.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Other Relevant Details
- The position is based at St. Michael's Hospital, a major teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Toronto.
