The Co-operators Development team is looking for bright, innovative people that like to solve business problems with leading edge software technology. As part of our team you will be at the forefront of our effort to deliver process automation to our business areas. We are not your typical Financial Services team. Our mission in our Development Center is to deliver amazing solutions while also developing the skills of our students. How you will create impact:

Learn how to use the UIPath automation tool to build complex and robust automations.

In Uipath we work on:
-
- Data Manipulation in List, Strings, Data Tables and dictionaries
- Email and excel Automation
Re- Framework - Exception Handling
- Uipath Orchestrator
- Bitbucket - version control
-
Ownership of a set of business processes that you get to automate.

Guidance, direction and support from your leader, project sponsor and team
-
Ambiguity and problems/challenges where you'll need to be resourceful, creative, and apply good judgement

A whole lot of learning ; exposure to business users, use of new technologies and introduction to software delivery best practices
To join our team:

Be currently enrolled in a co-op program in Computer Science, Engineering or Math
-
Have software development experience using automation tools (ie. UIPath, Blue Prism etc)
-
Are fearless, willing to try something new, make mistakes and retry to develop amazing solutions
-
Know how to collaborate and partner with others to deliver on goals
-
Great communication skills ; you can translate techie talk into simple, easy to understand language
-
Have strong analytical, conceptualization and problem solving skills
-
Have a desire to own the responsibility to solve your business problem while contributing to team projects

You have strong time management and organizational skills.

You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions, and proactively propose solutions.
