Division: Global BC & Corus Radio Vancouver

Work Status: Full-Time

Location: Burnaby and Vancouver, BC (Hybrid)

About the Role:

Global BC and Corus Radio Vancouver are looking for an organized and friendly Executive Assistant to support our News and Radio leadership teams. You will support the News Director, Station Manager, Director of Talk & Talent (730 CKNW), and the FM Program Director.

If you like to keep things running smoothly, helping people get stuff done, and being part of a busy media team, this role is for you!

You will contribute by:

Executive Support & Administration

Keep calendars, meetings, and agendas organized.

Write emails, prepare reports, and create presentations.

Coordinate travel and prepare expense submissions.

Support special projects and team communications.

Timesheets & Invoice Support

  • Process semi-monthly timesheets for multiple departments.
  • Track part-time hours, anniversaries, and leave balances.
  • Assist with local job postings, new hire onboarding, and paperwork.
  • Track all business-related invoices and assist in processing.

General Office Duties:

  • Answer viewers contact emails, reception voicemail intake and general administrative inquiries.
  • Handle mail, couriers, and office supplies.
  • Manage office access cards, parking, printers, coffee, and water.
  • Coordinate meetings and shredding services.

Skills and experience you will bring:

  • Post-secondary education in Radio, Broadcasting, Marketing, Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 3 years in executive administration or office management support in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion.
  • Experience with time sheets, hiring paperwork, or similar administrative tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and solve problems.
  • Flexibility and ability to handle shifting priorities with keen attention to detail.
