About the role
Anmar Mechanical & Electrical Contractors Ltd. are currently seeking an Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician to join the Anmar team in our Sudbury shop. The successful candidate will have experience with hydraulic and electrical equipment repairs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience repairing diesel, electrical and hydraulic equipment.
- Registered apprentice in field licensing category 421A considered an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematics.
- Technical and mechanical knowledge of cranes and mining equipment an asset.
- Experience using engine diagnostic software.
- Reliable and hardworking with a strong attention to detail.
- Valid Class G Driver's License.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on equipment.
- Perform diagnostic testing to determine required system repairs and parts replacement.
- Travel to site for repairs and maintenance when required.
- Organize and retain maintenance and repair reports.
- Assist with all additional required tasks at shop.
