This is where you come in, as the B2B Sales Assistant, you’ll be responsible for working directly with the Account Managers to support both inbound and outbound sales initiatives and drive top-line revenue objectives with a customer-obsessed mindset.

You’ll be the behind-the-scenes champion, supporting our Account Managers and Trade clients, from interior designers to architects, with thoughtful service and genuine enthusiasm. Whether it’s helping a designer find the perfect swatch, assisting with CRM tasks, or coordinating with logistics to ensure smooth delivery, you’ll bring clarity and confidence to every interaction.

About the B2B Sales team:
The B2B sales team runs our Pro Program. This is the team that sells to clients who are looking to furnish large multi-unit complexes, corporate dwellings, OR office spaces. This team has been on a steady growth path; every year, their revenue impact has increased.
You’ll work alongside a team of Account Managers, fellow Sales Assistants, and Account Development Representatives, reporting to the B2B Lead Sales Assistant.
We are a hybrid team; you'll be in the office three days a week, including Tuesday (All of the local team is in the office). Outside of in-office days, you'll be required to be in the office for client meetings and events, including seasonal after-hours events.
What You'll Do: Account Support & Client Interaction Client Engagement: Handle incoming and outgoing B2B Managed Account contacts with a professional, sales-focused approach. End-to-End Support: Guide customers through the entire purchase lifecycle, providing presale consultations, design solutions, product recommendations, and after-sales support. On-Site Hosting: Meet with clients face-to-face in the Article HQ Atrium to represent the brand and support the sales process. Check it out here! Sales Operations & Deal Execution Pipeline Acceleration: Support deal conversion and account growth by providing prompt, thorough assistance to the Sales Team and our customers. Transaction Management: Process quotes, sample/swatch requests, detailed invoices, and sales transactions. Sales Outreach: Collaborate with Account Managers and Account Development Representatives (ADRs) to develop and execute outbound sales sequences. Collateral Coordination: Partner with cross-departmental teams to produce high-quality sales collateral (such as product decks) under tight deadlines. Cross-Functional Logistics & Quality Delivery Coordination: Communicate clearly with the Logistics team to ensure smooth, on-time delivery services. QA & Returns: Work closely with the Returns and in-house Quality Assurance teams to resolve product reliability issues, returns, or replacements efficiently. CRM & Team Administration CRM Management: Maintain data integrity through daily CRM upkeep and administrative tasks. Process Optimization: Help develop and refine sales team best practices regarding the CRM, sales processes, and other internal systems.
Who You Are: Experience & Qualifications: Background: 2+ years of experience in specialty sales, customer service, or account support. Experience in furniture retail is a major asset. Tech Skills: Proficient with G Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, or equivalent productivity software. Compliance: Legally authorized to work in Canada and able to complete a criminal background check. Sales Passion & Drive: Career Growth: Eager to launch or advance a career in B2B sales, with a strong desire to build business development and account management skills. Mindset: A self-starter who takes immense ownership of their work and is highly motivated to learn, grow, and excel. Execution & Collaboration: Problem Solving: Confident when navigating problems and capable of delivering high-touch service to high-priority corporate clients with elevated expectations. Pace & Priority: Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
