DIRTT is seeking detail-oriented and timely go-getters to work in our Metalshop factory! Candidates must be available to work either a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (4 days on, 4 days off) or a standard Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Who You Are

As a Manufacturing Team Member in Metal Assembly, you will support production by assembling metal components and preparing materials to meet quality and efficiency standards. Working with tools and equipment, you will ensure accurate assembly, maintain a safe workspace, and contribute to meeting production targets. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to efficiently build high-quality metal products

  • Inspect components and finished goods, identifying defects and addressing them in accordance with quality standards

  • Read and interpret basic diagrams, drawings, specifications, and bills of materials to ensure accurate assembly

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise to maintain production flow

  • Perform work in compliance with all safety procedures and quality requirements

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, consistently using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Take precise measurements to ensure proper fit and alignment of components

  • Report equipment malfunctions, material issues, or defective parts promptly

  • Demonstrate strong manual dexterity and the ability to remain active throughout the shift

  • Communicate effectively and manage time and tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Utilize basic computer skills for reporting and production tracking as needed

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a related production environment is an asset.

  • Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, diagrams, and work instructions.

  • Comfortable using hand tools, measuring tools, and basic production equipment.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

  • Physically able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift materials as required.

  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Commitment to workplace safety and consistent use of PPE.
