Finning is looking for a Marketing Portfolio Manager – Rentals to lead integrated marketing initiatives that fuel customer engagement, generate leads, and elevate our brand across Canada.

This role is ideal for a seasoned marketing professional who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and who can influence without authority to align cross-functional teams around a shared vision.

Job Description: Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of portfolio-specific marketing strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Champion customer-centric marketing by embedding insights from customer feedback, market research, and sales data.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Customer Experience, and Events teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing initiatives.
  • Manage and optimize the annual marketing calendar across digital, traditional, and experiential channels.
  • Pilot and refine marketing tactics by customer segment and region, adjusting based on performance analytics.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to design and execute lead generation programs that drive pipeline growth.
  • Develop and manage creative briefs, ensuring alignment with brand standards and campaign objectives.
  • Guide internal and external creative teams to deliver high-impact, error-free marketing assets.
  • Ensure all content reflects brand voice, values, and resonates with target audiences
  • Influence senior stakeholders to gain buy-in on marketing strategies and priorities.
  • Represent the marketing function in cross-departmental initiatives and leadership forums.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in B2B marketing, sales enablement, or customer experience.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience engaging senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot).
  • Customer-facing experience is a strong asset.
