Summary

Join a team transforming enterprise communication through Microsoft Teams and cloud-based telephony. Communication underpins everything we do, and we’re taking it to the next level. As a UCaaS Engineering professional, you’ll be the designing and managing changes for our Microsoft Teams voice and enterprise cloud based telephony ecosystem — making collaboration seamless across the organisation.

This role goes beyond maintenance. You’ll design, integrate, and optimize a UCaaS platform that spans Teams, SBCs, PSTN, and compliance recording. If you’re passionate about voice technology, telecom integration, and modern collaboration tools, you’ll thrive here.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer and support Microsoft Teams Voice and Operator Connect for all users.
  • Support the manage Call Cabinet for compliance recording and analytics.
  • Deliver insights through dashboards and reporting:
    • Teams: CQD call quality metrics (MOS, jitter, packet loss), usage/adoption trends, device/endpoint analytics
    • SBC/PSTN: SIP trunk utilization, routing efficiency, error stats, health dashboards
    • Compliance: audit and regulatory reports via Call Cabinet and Teams native tools
  • Configure and optimize SBCs for PSTN and custom routing.
  • Partner with telecom providers and internal IT teams to deliver resilient, high-quality voice services.
  • Ensure full interoperability across Teams, PSTN, and CCaaS environments.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in voice quality, routing, and system integration.
  • Champion automation, monitoring, and system resilience improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise voice or UCaaS engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field of Engineering, Computer Science or similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams Voice and Operator Connect.
  • Hands-on experience with SBCs (Session Border Controllers) and SIP trunking.
  • Familiarity with PSTN integration and call routing.
  • Experience with compliance recording tools (Call Cabinet, NICE, Verint, or similar).
  • Ability to interpret and act on CQD metrics and voice quality diagnostics.
  • Understanding of telecom protocols (SIP, RTP, QoS).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in voice/telecom.
  • Bonus: Microsoft certification(s), SBC vendor certification(s), exposure to automation/monitoring frameworks.
