About the role
Our client is looking for a bilingual Account Manager to support client relationships and drive business growth in the mining sector (Based in Val D'Or, Rouyn Noranda or surrounding area) . This role is well suited to a detail-oriented individual who combines strong customer service instincts with commercial awareness and a solid understanding of Quebec's Mining Operations. The successful candidate will manage client needs, coordinate internal support, and help ensure services are delivered accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client accounts, acting as a trusted point of contact for ongoing service and sales support.
- Identify opportunities to expand account value by understanding client objectives and recommending suitable services or solutions.
- Use CRM tools to track account activity, document interactions, and maintain accurate client records.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve service issues, support administrative processes, and keep deliverables on schedule.
- Provide guidance and training to clients or team members on relevant products, systems, and service procedures.
- Monitor account performance, prepare updates, and communicate progress clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Support office and administrative functions related to account coordination, reporting, and service follow-up.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in account management, client services, sales, or a related business-facing role.
- Hands-on experience working with CRM platforms and accounting software systems in a detail-focused environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport, present information clearly, and manage client expectations.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience delivering training, onboarding support, or process guidance to clients or colleagues.
- Proficiency with general office functions, documentation, and administrative coordination.
- A Valid Drivers license and access to personal vehicle.
