Role Description The Licensed Hairstylist will provide professional hair services, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments, while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming salon environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with guests to understand their needs, recommending appropriate hair care products and services, and delivering personalized, high-quality experiences that align with Couture de Beaute’s standards. The role also involves working collaboratively with the salon team, supporting academy activities when required, and promoting sustainable, ethical beauty practices. This is a contract, on-site role located in Brantford, ON, with schedules based on business and guest needs.

Qualifications Strong practical skills in Hair Styling and Hair Care, with the ability to provide a range of cutting, coloring, and treatment services. Foundational knowledge and training in Cosmetology, including hygiene, safety standards, and professional salon practices. Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on building guest loyalty and delivering consistent, positive experiences. Clear and professional Communication skills to conduct effective consultations, explain services, and provide product recommendations. Valid hairstylist or cosmetology license (or equivalent provincial certification) recognized in Ontario. Experience working in a salon or spa environment; familiarity with sustainable and cruelty-free beauty products is an asset. Ability to stand for extended periods, manage multiple appointments, and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required, and commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
