Purpose of Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient JDE Financials Business Systems Analyst with 5-8 years of experience supporting JD Edwards (JDE 9.2) Financials, specifically strong knowledge of General Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Fixed Assets modules, with some experience with Job Cost, Accounts Receivable, Procurement and Inventory modules. The ideal candidate will support daily operations, drive process improvements, and collaborate with global teams to enhance system effectiveness. In addition to JDE Financials, the candidate must demonstrate strong understanding of ERP systems and other financial and reporting system - Concur (Expense Management), AP Automation system, ReportsNow, amongst others.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day Tier 2 support for end users of JDE Financials - General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Job Cost and Accounts Receivable modules.
- Collaborate with other JDE team members, especially supply chain; Requisition to Receive and Inventory Management; to provide support and resolve cross-functional JDE issues.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve system and process issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Create ad hoc reports responding to requests for data and analyze business procedures and problems to develop specifications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, review business opportunities, and recommend feasible solutions aligned with financial and operational goals.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
- Maintain Business Process maps and system documentation around the processes and configuration for business applications.
- Develop and maintain training and E-Learning content.
- Develop and deliver informative, well-organized presentations, communications, and training curriculum.
- Document business processes, configuration changes, technical documentation, and end-user guides.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
- Participate in system testing, upgrades, training, and change management initiatives.
- Identify and resolve data integrity issues to ensure data quality and system compatibility.
- Assist with compliance, audit requests, and financial reporting needs.
- Work effectively in a global, multicultural environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams across geographies.
- Accountable for small projects or programs with manageable risks and resource requirements.
- Support end-user training by delivering clear communications and informative presentations.
- Provide advisory input and make recommendations regarding new or enhanced business solutions.
- Review business opportunities, technical specifications, as well as provide advice to determine if the initiatives are feasible
- Configure financial applications per business and technical requirements.
- Establish and maintain close working relationships with business partners.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience with JD Edwards Financials, particularly in General Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Fixed Assets, with some experience with Job Cost, Accounts Receivable, Procurement and Inventory modules.
- College or university diploma in Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or Certificate in Business Systems
- Analysis or Information Systems Business Analysis.
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial business processes.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with third parties’ analytics and reporting tools, such as Reports Now, Microsoft Power BI, etc.
- Excellent English language communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural, and cross-functional environment.
- Ability to analyze complex business situations, and summarize key issues and make practical value-added recommendations within the project scope
- Willing to actively develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners and earn trust by providing them with the quality and value of service and products
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Interest in expanding expertise to support additional ERP modules and financial applications, such as Concur, CAPEX systems, and OneStream.
