About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Environmental Coordination & Scheduling
- Manage the calendar for all non-production and production environments, ensuring optimal availability and minimal conflicts.
- Track environment usage, maintenance windows and refresh schedules.
- Request Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all non-prod environment requests.
- Evaluate and prioritize requests based on business needs and technical feasibility
- Communication & Documentation
- Send environment status minutes weekly
- Send timely communications regarding environment availability, outages, changes and refreshes.
- Maintain clear documentation of environment configurations, schedules and requests.
- On call for urgent production outage communications
- Collaboration and Problem Solving
- Work closely with development, QA, infrastructure and SAP teams to understand environment needs and constraints
- Facilitate discussions to identify and implement optimal solutions for environment provisioning and usage.
- Technical Oversight
- Understand technical SAP landscape components and server types (e.g. applications servers, database servers).
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure environments are properly configured and maintained.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing IT environments, preferably in a large enterprise setting.
- Familiarity with SAP systems and server infrastructure (Windows, Linux, cloud/on-prem).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in global IT operations or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Background in software development, infrastructure, or systems engineering.
- Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks.

We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $115,000 – $130,000 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
