Job Summary
As the Marketing/Events & Media Coordinator at Sasquatch Mountain Resort, you’ll bring the energy of mountain life to our guests both on and off the slopes. From capturing fresh snow at sunrise to building hype for events and promotions, your work will showcase the adventure, community, and spirit that define Sasquatch. This is a creative, fast-moving role that blends social media, event planning, and on-the-ground support. At Sasquatch Mountain Resort, we create an inclusive experience, united by adventure and empowered by community. If you’re adaptable, outgoing, and passionate about mountain culture, we want you on our team.
Job Specifications
- Wage: Based on experience
- Schedule: Full-time, including weekends and holidays
- Skill Level: Marketing/ Communications/ Media background
- Reports To: Inside Operations Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Capture, edit, and post content across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
- Plan, coordinate, and execute seasonal events that engage the community.
- Film and produce content such as reels, hype edits, and promotional features.
- Collaborate with local partners and sponsors on promotions.
- Maintain consistent branding and storytelling across all media.
- Provide support for event logistics, including setup/takedown, signage, and on-site guest engagement.
- Work with internal departments to highlight Sasquatch programs and guest experiences.
- Monitor online engagement and contribute to content planning.
- Jump in to assist with general resort operations during peak times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Background in Marketing, Communications, or Media—or strong demonstrated experience.
- Proficiency with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and basic editing software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Creative thinker with an adventurous mindset and willingness to learn on the go.
- Positive, community-oriented attitude and strong communication skills.
- Able to adapt in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Passion for skiing, snowboarding, or mountain culture (asset).
- Willingness to support other departments as needed.
- Comfortable working outdoors and occasionally assisting with hands-on event needs.
- All SMR team members must contribute to snow removal and interdepartmental support.
