Senior Guidewire Digital Solutions Developer
Contract Duration: 6 months to 1 year
Position Overview
This is a senior-level consulting opportunity for an experienced Guidewire Digital Solutions Developer to help deliver modern, customer-centric digital insurance solutions. The role focuses on designing and developing scalable digital applications using the Guidewire Digital ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on the Jutro Framework and seamless integration with the Guidewire InsuranceSuite. The successful candidate will partner with business stakeholders, solution architects, UX teams, and developers to build intuitive digital experiences that support enterprise transformation initiatives.
Required Experience & Qualifications
5+ Years of Software Development Experience: Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale web and digital applications using modern front-end technologies. Guidewire Digital Expertise: Strong hands-on experience developing applications using the Guidewire Jutro Framework and Guidewire Digital capabilities. InsuranceSuite Integration: Experience integrating digital applications with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter, leveraging RESTful services and Guidewire APIs. Modern Front-End Development: Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and component-based UI development with responsive design principles. Digital Solution Delivery: Experience designing reusable UI components, improving application usability, and delivering consistent customer experiences across web and mobile platforms. API & Integration Experience: Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication methods, JSON, and frontend integration with enterprise systems. Agile Development: Experience working within Agile delivery teams, contributing to sprint planning, development, testing, code reviews, and production releases. Problem Solving & Optimization: Ability to troubleshoot complex application issues, optimize performance, and ensure high-quality, maintainable code. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including architects, product owners, UX designers, QA teams, and business stakeholders. Documentation & Best Practices: Experience preparing technical documentation, following development standards, and contributing to knowledge sharing across project teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks. Guidewire Jutro and/or InsuranceSuite certifications. Experience delivering digital platforms within the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance industry. Familiarity with cloud-based Guidewire implementations and digital modernization initiatives. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tools. Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), responsive design, and front-end performance optimization. Experience supporting Guidewire platform upgrades, enhancements, and enterprise digital transformation programs.
