Job Description We’re looking for an Associate Planner to join our dynamic team! What You'll Do Identifies and recognizes business opportunities 1 to 6 months out through the analysis of sales and knowledge of market trends to drive sales and reflect merchandise strategy

Supports creation of in-season and pre-season plans to reflect strategic vision for department by:

  • Leading analysis and preparing financial results for quarterly Merchant strategy meetings; participates in strategy meetings
  • Identifying opportunities and risks of department plans
  • Developing and presenting recommendations on sales, inventory and flow plans for future events
  • Visits stores and competition to evaluate and critique product mix for brands, fashion, quality, and price, sharing findings and developing recommendations to implement with merchant team and other business partners
  • Supports shipping strategies by identifying merchandise flow opportunities and risks; provides recommendations to problem solve
  • Provides support and coaching to Allocation Analysts; advice and guidance to team members on day to day key activities; mentors, trains and is a resource to answer questions and discuss best practices

About You:

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Retail Planning & Allocation preferred (or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to provide solutions; ability to leverage prior experience and adapt quickly to the changing work environment to make effective decisions, revise business strategies to support the vision of the department
  • Demonstrates interpersonal skills with ability to influence business partners, to build and maintain collaborative relationships to effectively identify business opportunities
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing needs of the business, and changing priorities
  • Good people management skills including coaching, providing advice and guidance to Associates to resolve problems; discuss and share best practices

Salary Range: $60,082.50-$84,115.50 /year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
