THE OPPORTUNITY We have a five (5) month opportunity for three (3) Client Services Co-op/Interns to join our award-winning firm in the Vancouver office. The co-op term is from April to August 2026. What You’ll Do As a Client Services Co-op/Intern, you will work in a collaborative environment with various departments in our Client Services and Accounting teams (including Account Transfers, Corporate Actions and Taxation, Mutual Funds and GICs, New Accounts & Documents Management, Registered Accounts and Securities).

You have the ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-oriented setting while maintaining accuracy and a high level of client service. You thrive in an environment that requires juggling competing priorities, and you are committed to operational excellence by going above and beyond your day-to-day responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support and processing activities related to Client Services departments
  • Support Investment Advisors, Assistants and other Client Services teams in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
  • Administer policies and procedures and adhere to department guidelines
  • Establish work priorities to ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed

COMPETENCIES

  • Analysis – Able to gather and organize information from various sources to assist in problem solving or decision making, identify obvious patterns or trends in data or from experiences, contribute initial observations and ideas based on consideration of the situation and context
  • Coordination – Able to assist in organizing basic tasks or activities, gather and document information, ensuring it is accessible and accurate, follow instructions to support timelines and prioritize tasks within defined parameters
  • Customer Service – Able to assist partners by answering basic inquiries and escalating issues in a friendly and empathetic manner, follow internal policies and guidelines to process straightforward transactions, capture and document relevant client information accurately
  • Operational Policy & Procedures – Able to follow basic organizational policies and procedures, complete routine tasks as instructed, demonstrate awareness of the importance of compliance and consistency
  • Project Management – Able to assist with basic project tasks under guidance, track project milestones and update stakeholders on progress, demonstrate awareness of key project management principles
  • Regulatory Knowledge – Able to identify and follow basic legal or regulatory requirements, report potential compliance issues as directed, demonstrate awareness of key regulations affecting the organization
  • Systems & Application Proficiency – Able to use basic features of systems and applications to complete routine tasks, report issues with systems and applications to appropriate teams, demonstrate awareness of system and application capabilities and limitations

Knowledge And Experience

  • Pursuing post-secondary degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
  • 1–2 years of customer service experience
  • Knowledge of financial services or investment industry is an asset
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize
  • multiple and competing tasks
  • Strong client services skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable team player who enjoys collaborating with others
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft 365
