Now, we’re looking for a Senior BD to grow Castle HR’s footprint. This is a rare opportunity to combine business development, leadership, and impact in a high-growth, entrepreneurial firm that’s changing how SMBs think about HR.
The Basics:
Type: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Remote - Canada - GTA or Vancouver
Compensation: $100K base + commission (OTE: Year 1–2 $150K, Year 3–5 $200K+)
Vacation: 4 weeks
Start Date: Immediately
About the Role:
This is not a typical “sales job.” As a Senior BD, you are a trusted growth partner:
- Grow our Kingdom: Own your region’s growth targets. Build a pipeline, win new clients, and drive Castle HR’s expansion. You’ll approach your region with a CEO-like mindset - strategic, focused, and relentless about results.
- Client Impact: You’re not just closing deals; you’re transforming businesses. Every client you bring on gets access to senior HR leadership that fuels their growth. You’ll see the long-term impact of your work in their success stories.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Partner with Castle HR’s senior consultants and leadership, ensuring we all shine in every aspect of the business. You’ll inspire, support, and be the standard for excellence.
- Network Builder: You’ll cultivate strong alliances with referral partners, professional networks, and like-minded service providers (Fractional CFOs, Tech incubators, EOS Partners, etc.), creating long-term relationships that extend Castle HR’s influence.
- Voice of the Castle: You’ll be at the table with Castle HR’s leadership team, shaping go-to-market strategy, sharing insights, and helping us scale nationally.
What Success Looks Like:
- Meeting and exceeding annual revenue goals.
- Establishing Castle HR as the go-to fractional HR partner in your region.
- Building a network of referral partners who consistently send warm introductions.
- Creating trusted, lasting relationships with clients, measured in multi-year retention.
- Driving Castle HR’s reputation as a high-impact, modern HR firm for scaling SMBs.

- Proven Rainmaker: 10+ years in B2B sales or business development, ideally in professional services or consulting.
- Relationship Builder: You know how to network, nurture trust, and create long-term value.
