The Opportunity:

We are recruiting aMENTAL HEALTH CLINICIAN****(Eating Disorders Service)

-This is aregular full-time role (35 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm) based at 80 Waterloo Ave. Guelph.

Team oriented and collaborative, you will provide assessment and treatment of eating disorders for adults. This will include conducting comprehensive assessments within an interdisciplinary team model and providing CBT for Eating Disorders to adults, or other evidence-based treatments for eating disorders. This position reports to the Manager, DBT & Eating Disorders Services.

Qualifications:

• Masters level degree in social work, psychology or relevant health or social science field
• Registration with relevant college/registering body
• 3 to 5 years’ experience within the health services sector with in-depth knowledge of complex clinical issues.
• Demonstrated experience working in a clinical capacity with individuals who have eating disorders (preferably within an Eating Disorders Program)
• Training and/or education specific to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy skills in relation to the treatment of eating disorders
• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy
• Experience managing high risk and crisis situations
• Demonstrated understanding and sensitivity to social and cultural diversity
• Highly developed organizational, communication and problem solving skills
• The ability to work collaboratively in a self-directed work team
• Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook and various database software
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation as travel is required

CLASSIFICATION AND RATE OF PAY: Level 6 (OPSEU) - $37.09 to $45.21 per hour
