We’re seeking a hands-on Receiving Team Lead to oversee inbound operations in a fast-paced wholesale warehouse. Focused largely on scheduling, coordination, and problem-solving, while leading from the floor as needed, you’ll ensure product is received accurately, staged properly, and ready for the warehouse.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead daily receiving operations and assign tasks to manage volume efficiently
- Coordinate shipments with vendors, carriers, and internal teams
- Verify counts, condition, lot/date codes, and documentation for all inbound product
- Use RF scanners and inventory systems to maintain accuracy
- Train team members, enforce SOPs, and maintain a safe, organized receiving area
- Identify bottlenecks, escalate risks, and recommend solutions
What You Bring:
- 3–5 years warehouse receiving experience, including mixed-SKU or break-pack shipments
- 1+ year leading or coordinating a team
- Skilled with RF scanners and ERP/inventory systems
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Comfortable enforcing processes under pressure
- Forklift experience and hands-on involvement with product
