We are seeking an experienced Business Solutions Officer to fill a permanent full-time position in Winnipeg to lead the development,
implementation, and promotion of a centralized approach to business support services across the Operations and Asset Planning &
Delivery Business Units. It involves leading or contributing to cross-functional teams on strategy, process optimization, and change
management. Responsibilities include business planning, developing and documenting policies, processes, and procedures, as well
as creating communication and change management plans, and drafting communications for a broad audience across the province.
Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives to centralize business support processes across the Operations & Asset Planning & Delivery Business Units:
Identify opportunities, evaluate, recommend and implement business support and workflow solutions, incorporating effective
change management processes.
- Facilitate and lead business planning processes for Operations and/or Asset Planning & Delivery, including the development
of business unit, divisional and department level business planning documents and processes.
- Lead the implementation of the Joint Operations and Asset Planning & Delivery Communications Strategy. Write, develop,
edit, and publish content and copy for internal content for a variety of platforms.
- Develop and execute effective change management and communication plans to support organizational initiatives and
engage staff across all levels.
- Lead and participate in the research, development and implementation of various strategic initiatives and best management
practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholder groups for the develop of knowledge necessary to assess
and understand the longer-term, strategic needs regarding business processes.
- Develop and produce reports, presentations and communications for senior management.
Qualifications:
- A four-year degree from a university of recognized standing in an applicable discipline with a minimum of five years of directly
related experience;
OR
- A two-year diploma from an institute of recognized standing, plus a minimum of seven years of directly related experience.
- The individual will require strong critical thinking and communication skills which will be required to communicate information
on a variety of topics to a large audience of internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability and advanced level experience with communication skills, both verbal and written including preparing
and delivering written communications, presentations and training.
- Demonstrated ability and advanced level experience in Strategic Planning and Business Unit planning activities.
- Demonstrated ability and experience of process analysis and improvement, business transformation and project management

guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to plan for and edit video commination messages to wide internal audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint and MS Teams.
Salary Range
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $43.35-$59.82 Hourly,
$83,070.78-$114,625.68 Annually.
