The Role
Repair (Approx. 70%)
- Perform hands-on diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy duty trucks and equipment
- Test vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Coordinate with Parts Technicians to ensure required components are available or ordered
Problem Solving (Approx. 20%)
- Review detailed repair concerns provided by Service Advisors
- Diagnose complex engine, transmission, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems using advanced diagnostic tools
- Interpret results, document findings, and establish accurate repair timelines
Reporting & Training (Approx. 10%)
- Accurately track time and document all repair work performed
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new technologies and procedures

- Initial training will take place on day shift
Education & Certification
- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (Red Seal preferred)
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license is an asset
