The Position : To maintain complete and accurate client account information for the Company through timely accurate accounts receivable process.

Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable & Collections

  • Ensure prompt collection of payments by monitoring customer accounts for overdue payments and proactive follow up with customers.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely processing of customer payments and new customer accounts.
  • Reconciling credit card transactions in POS system to customer settlement in ERP.

Reports & Data Maintenance

  • Ensure accounts receivable management reports including significant overdue accounts are completed and distributed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely data on collection activity.
  • Ensure distribution of customer statements in a timely manner.

Communication & Administration

  • Ensure clear and concise communications with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure cooperation with special projects as required and ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications Education and Experience

  • Post-secondary diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Minimum three (3) years of related experience.

Specialized Skill or Knowledge

  • Strong communication and written skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well independently.
  • Ability to collect outstanding invoices from customers using diplomacy and tact.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookup functions and a demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Essential Duties

  • Ability to work long periods of concentration.
  • Strong mathematical skills and basic understanding of accounting.
  • Bondable.

  • Compensation based on a regular work week of thirty-seven and one half (37.5) working hours, with additional working hours as required to meet ongoing business demands and to full fill job responsibilities.
