Administrative Assistant II Location: Calgary, AB Type: 1-year contract (with potential extension) Rate: $35/h
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support a dynamic project team in Calgary. This role will work closely with the Project Manager and execution team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, strong organization, and effective project coordination. This is an initial 1-year contract, with the overall project expected to run 3–4 years, offering potential for extension based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative support to the project team Assist with project reporting and documentation Maintain and update organizational charts and records Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and team activities Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes Support preparation of presentations (PowerPoint) and onboarding materials Ensure the project team remains organized and on track with deliverables Perform general administrative duties as required
Qualifications & Experience 10+ years of administrative experience Experience supporting large projects or project teams is strongly preferred Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Industry experience is an asset but not required
Required Skills Top candidates will demonstrate: Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail High level of self-motivation and initiative Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
