Responsibilities
My team manages a newly formed Governance function for office of the CISO at Banking. This mandate spans across all Cyber Security domains. Work involved metrics , monitoring and reporting, driving governance activities across different pillars such as issue management, risks and controls. Etc Drive consistency governance routines, adherence to risk and control framework requirements, and issue management practices across the organizations. Enhance current processes and activities by Introducing AI Driven automation enablement Document, manage and automate workflow management activates leveraging enterprise tools(e.g. JIRA) Establish governance mechanisms to deliver a comprehensive, aggregate across applicable Cyber domains with clear reporting and oversight. Identify systemic risks, emerging trends, and concentration risks to inform leadership decision-making. Develop and deliver clear, concise, and actionable reporting tailored for senior management, risk and technology committees, etc. Review, challenge, track and report key performance for Cyber operations and service delivery requirements (i.e. IGAs). Facilitate governance forums and drive executive-level discussions. Monitor emerging threats and trends within the technology landscape, including but not limited to, cybersecurity, operational and third-party risks. Collaborates with senior management to provide updates on project status and risk issues, ensuring consistency and quality in security assessments and governance processes. Leverages advanced and creative skills to resolve complex information and data security related problems Leads and facilitates cross functional collaboration efforts, fostering strong internal relationships across the organization and external partnerships to achieve impactful business outcomes. Design, implement, and continuously enhance governance activities for CISO and Cyber operations Ensure alignment with enterprise IT Risk and Cyber operations with governance requirements.
Must-have Skills
Strong experience creating presentations and reports, with the ability to automate reporting where possible. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong Stakeholder management skills. Experience with Large FI or Tech company Extensive experience managing IT and Cyber Security Risk with heavy involvement in Governance Experience in IT and Cyber Security, Technology Governance, and Cyber Risk. Outstanding Soft Skills
Nice-to-have Skills
Experience with Archer from a GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) perspective. Experience with Jira for workflow management. Previous Banking hands on experience in Tech or IT to shorten ramp up time.
