HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD
Reporting to the Metallurgical Chief, you will be responsible for achieving objectives in terms of production, metallurgical performance, operating costs, product quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental compliance. Your main duties will be:
Participate in the development of the metallurgy operations strategy and provide advice and information to support the plans developed for the plant.
Complete certain production reports, perform material balances, and work on various problems that may arise.
Measure metallurgical performance, analyze daily problems, and suggest solutions.
Provide technical support in metallurgy for concentrator operations (grinding, flotation, filtration, thickening, and drying).
Develop, apply, and modify operating instructions as needed. Implement new operating procedures and provide technical support
Participate in the management of various projects under your responsibility.
PROFILE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in materials and metallurgical engineering or chemical engineering, combined with a minimum of five (5) years of experience.
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
Computer skills, Office Suite, SAP, MiniTab, and Bilmat.
Knowledge of project management and statistical analysis.
Valid driver's license.
Bilingualism in English and French.
