EBC is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support operations in Toronto. This role is responsible for monitoring and supporting Health & Safety compliance across assigned construction projects. You will oversee safety-related planning, inspections, audits, incident prevention and training support. You will also guide management and site supervisors in the application of safety standards and corrective measures.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- CRSP designation preferred
- Minimum 5 years of safety experience in construction
- Strong knowledge of incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Eligible for Secret-level federal security clearance (EBC will assist with application)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong document management and computer literacy skills
- Solid knowledge of OH&S Acts and Regulations with ability to explain rationale behind policies
- Certifications: NCSO
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (French bilingualism is an asset)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
