About the role
Summary
Fuel Associate's are responsible for assisting with the complete installation and repair of diesel generator fuel system and ensuring that customers have reliable and code compliant systems.
Junior technicians (fuel) are responsible for assisting with the execution of project objectives by supporting lead technicians with daily work activities; performing minor system repairs; ensuring work sites are kept in a clean and tidy condition; completing documentation and paperwork as necessary.
What You’ll Do – The Role (Responsibilities)
Perform minor repairs to fuel systems with direct supervision by senior technicians Ensuring proper in-house maintenance is performed on vehicles, workshop, yard, shop equipment and tools Completing all required administrative work-order documentation to ensure costs are correctly allocated, and customer information is captured Take part in daily Health & Safety initiatives Attend company and industry training events as organized by the employer Other tasks and responsibilities as may be required from time to time consistent with the position of Junior Technician and the job description and duties set out above.
What You Need (Requirement)
Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a technical trade Valid Driver’s License in good standing Be a part of the Company’s after hours on call schedule.? In the case of a power outage or declared State of Emergency by any level of Government, be available for work.
Working Conditions
Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals. Heavy lifting and physical exertion, is required Overtime as required. Lifting or moving up to 50lbs may be required.
