Position: Automotive Controller
Location: Chilliwack, BC, Canada
As the Automotive Controller, you will hold a pivotal role within our dealership's management team. We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented individual who thrives in an office environment and enjoys collaborating with others. This exceptional opportunity allows you to further your accounting career within a dynamic and diverse company culture. The position is available immediately, and we are seeking candidates with experience in the automotive industry (PBS experience is preferred but not required).
What we Offer:
- Salary: $90,000-$110,000 - depending on experience

Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the accounting team, ensuring day-to-day excellence within your dealership
- Maintain the utmost accuracy of monthly accounting data, guaranteeing the integrity of financial records
- Prepare comprehensive internal and external financial statements, showcasing your expertise
- Analyze statements and reports to identify areas of concern and potential growth opportunities
- Provide invaluable financial support to the management team, including customized internal reports and insightful analysis
- Oversee HR functions and documentation requirements, ensuring seamless operations
- Champion the timely collection of all aspects of Accounts Receivable
- Prepare year-end documentation for External Audit, showcasing your meticulous attention to detail
- Assist with payroll duties as required, demonstrating your versatility
- Conduct regular maintenance and review of all accounts and schedules to uphold accuracy
- Prepare necessary monthly accruals and adjustments, reflecting your meticulousness
- Contribute to other projects and assignments, embracing new challenges
- Manage the dealership accounting system (PBS) and oversee all IT functions, guaranteeing smooth operations
Qualifications:
- 5 years of industry experience is a valuable asset
- Proven ability to lead teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
- Dedication to delivering the highest level of customer service, ensuring exceptional experiences
- Working knowledge of payroll and related taxes, showcasing your comprehensive expertise
