An exciting co-op opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Calgary, AB office beginning May 2026 for a 12-month term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work.

This position will report directly to the Director, IT Strategy office. As the Co-op Student, Strategy & Change, you will provide hands-on support to the IT Strategy Team and the corresponding stakeholders using a collaborative, results-oriented approach. You will assist in responding to queries and providing guidance related to processes, programs, and strategic efforts. Most of the day-to-day interaction is with others in the IT Strategy & Change Team and various IT Leaders.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare monthly strategy monitoring reports and performance analysis.
  • Support the maintenance of the IT strategy processes and risk mitigation programs.
  • Support the coordination of monthly strategic vendor analysis reports.
  • Support the consolidation of monthly status report data on vendor cyber score performance.
  • Produce monthly detailed and summary IT Strategy reports for key team members within the IT organization.
  • Assist with strategic workforce reviews and associated workforce planning efforts.
  • Assist with change readiness and communication programs.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the IT Strategy Office as required.
  • Pro-actively identify areas for improvement, potential problem areas and gaps, and provide recommendations.
  • Understand and follow corporate policies and programs, including the Company’s Health and Safety Program, Policy, and Procedures.

What You Will Bring

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program at a recognized post-secondary institution in Business, Communication, Finance or other related business or technology field, minimum 2nd year student, with a graduation date of August 2026 or later.
