Nurse Practitioner - Virtual Urgent Care Clinic
About the role
The Acute Care Program is seeking a casual, Nurse Practitioner who will be
working within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse (Extended Class) [RN(EC)] in the Virtual Urgent Care Clinic.
The Virtual Urgent Care Clinic provides timely, specialized mental health care
through a virtual emergency department model. When not focusing on the Virtual Urgent Care Clinic, the successful candidate will function as part of the interprofessional team in the Bridging Service. The Bridging Service is a drop-in, low-barrier, rapid access service that provides short-term care for clients who have recently been discharged from an acute care inpatient unit or diverted/referred from the Emergency Department.
