AltaGas – Sr. Specialist - Maintenance Management - Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls
The Maintenance Management Sr. Specialist is a senior-level role responsible for supporting the development and leading the implementation of maintenance work management processes, procedures, training, and the sustainment of maintenance-related activities at Midstream field locations. The role will focus on the instrumentation, electrical, and controls disciplines within the AltaGas asset base. This position supports AltaGas in optimizing its Midstream Operations by effectively standardizing asset management and maintenance practices.
You will:
- Support the development, implementation, and sustainment of OMS Asset Management Program Frameworks – Asset Registry, Asset Care, Work Management, Inventory Management, and Performance Management
- Field-level understanding of day-to-day maintenance tasks associated with electrical, instrumentatio,n and controls systems at oil and gas facilities
- Lead the implementation of Maintenance and work management processes across the organization.
- Develop maintenance strategies and detailed job plans pertaining to the EIC crafts
- Develop Equipment bill of materials and perform spare parts analysis
- Develop and coordinate the plant’s maintenance and reliability strategies and procedures.
- Monitored, sustained maintenance KPI’s and presented to the leadership team for opportunities.
- Provide technical support to the maintenance team to enhance preventive maintenance strategies and checks, along with predictive maintenance strategies and operation-based maintenance checks.
- Support standardization of Planning and Scheduling for regular maintenance and turnarounds
- Identify Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) trends to prioritize failure modes for corrective action investigation.
- Lead facility Criticality Assessments and PM Reviews to drive standardization and optimization of planned work.
- Represent field maintenance at centralized divisional level.
- Provide technical support to operations and engineering with respect to maintenance activities.
- Provide training as required on the EAM/CMMS (Maximo)
- Analyze and develop the continuous improvement process for all facilities maintenance initiatives.
- Provide on-site field assistance.
You have:
- Electrical or Instrumentation trade Trade/Diploma/Degree
- Engineer or post-secondary degree with applicable maintenance experience
- 12+ years of specialized experience with maintenance management
- 5+ years of field-level maintenance experience in oil & gas facilities
- CMPR/MMP certification/license ideal
- Specialized in-depth experience with Enterprise Asset Management Systems (Maximo) related to maintenance, planning & scheduling.
- Working knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance & Technologies.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects.
- Self-starter, operationally & commercially driven with the ability to integrate teams over multiple geographic areas.
- Has the ability to influence others to adopt a different point of view. Impacts the achievement of operations and maintenance objectives by setting the directions.
- Experience driving change across multiple sites.
- Lead others to solve complex problems, use analytics tools to identify & implement innovative solutions.
