We have three time-duration Lifeguard positions available at our Almer Carlson Outdoor Pool located in North Bend, BC. The term for these positions is from June 22, 2026 to September 6, 2026. You will follow applicable safety procedures to ensure the protection of customers, staff and facilities, and perform tasks relating to the operation and maintenance of the aquatic facility. We are looking for a team player who has excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills. You must be available for shifts for up to 8 hours, anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., including evenings, weekends and some holidays.

Required qualifications:

Must be at least 15 years of age

Must pass a Criminal Records Check

Current National Lifeguard (pool option)
-
Current Standard First Aid+ CPR Level C award

Current Airway Management & Oxygen Administration
-
Knowledge of the operation and maintenance a pool and related equipment
The candidates will also possess the following additional certifications:
- Preferred Current Lifesaving Swim Instructor
The job rate for this part-time Union position is $27.89 per hour plus 16% in lieu of benefits. If you are required to teach lessons, the wage rate will increase to the Swimming Instructor’s rate.
