FULL TIME HOURS
- Overnight shifts
- November- February 13th
- 12-hour shifts
WHAT WILL I BE DOING? The Snowmaking department is primarily responsible for providing the snow base for the timely opening and operation of the Resort’s skiable terrain for the ultimate ski and snowboard experience.
- Start, stop and make adjustments to snow guns.
- Make decisions and changes on-hill as required and as weather conditions change
- Travel the property on a snowmobile including up and down steep terrain. (in accordance with company policy).
- Communicate effectively and work within a team as well as with other departments
- Able to pay close attention to details and the weather to determine optimal conditions for snowmaking
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Past experience with operation of a snowmobile preferred
- Mechanically inclined
- Valid G class driver’s license with satisfactory driver abstract
- Must be over the age of 18
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able to lift and move heavy loads over uneven terrain
- Prepared to work in all outdoor conditions including extreme cold, snow, wind, rain, etc.
- Must be detail oriented and safety conscious
- Must be able to work in a loud environment around noisy machinery
