Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full-Time File Maintenance Clerk at our Cornerstone Wine, Spirits, and Beer location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Cornerstone Wine, Spirits and Beer Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:

  • Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
  • Provide Legendary Service through all touch points through various communication channels.
  • Maintain and update liquor product information in the point-of-sale (POS) and inventory systems.
  • Ensure correct pricing, descriptions, stock keeping unit (SKU) numbers, and coding for all store items.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of Limited Time Offers (LTOs), ensuring timely set up and removal in systems.
  • Maintain customer records including individual and commercial accounts, ensuring timely information is up to date and accurate.
  • Track and maintain permit files such as liquor license, resale permits, and other regulatory documents required for legal sale and distribution of alcohol.
  • Monitor and implement promotional pricing, vendor updates, and price changes.
  • Audit liquor file data for accuracy and correct any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and liquor vendors regarding product additions, deletions, and changes.
  • Support inventory processes and stock-taking initiatives.
  • Maintain all signage on the sales floor.
  • Perform store duties including opening and closing, end of day procedures, floor coverage, and other duties as assigned.
  • Complete large amounts of data entry, with seated work, and significant use of computerized workstation.
  • Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies and procedures.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:

  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent experience; customer service and previous file maintenance experience would be considered assets.
  • You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
  • You have strong data entry skills and extensive computer experience with Microsoft Office and POS systems.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills; attention to detail, versatility, creativity and flexibility are required.
  • You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
  • You must be able to fulfill physical job requirements – manual labour is required while assisting on sales floor and performing inventory counts. Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs, kneeling, crouching, working in cooler temperatures.
  • You have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
  • You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, and holidays.
