Senior Automation Engineer (Auto-Patching & Tooling)
About the role
Are you passionate about automation, infrastructure tooling, and streamlining software deployment processes? We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our Auto-Patching & Tooling team and help drive automation initiatives across large-scale enterprise environments.
What You'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for software deployment and patch management. Build and enhance tooling to improve operational efficiency and system reliability. Develop robust scripts and automation frameworks using Python and UNIX/Linux technologies. Automate repetitive infrastructure and deployment tasks to reduce manual effort. Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and engineering teams to implement scalable automation solutions. Troubleshoot and optimize existing deployment and patching processes.
What We're Looking For
Strong hands-on experience with Python development and UNIX/Linux scripting Experience automating software deployment and patch management processes Proven ability to design and implement enterprise-scale automation solutions Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience working in Linux-based environments Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Required Experience
8+ years of experience in Automation Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, Platform Engineering, or related roles. Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
