- Job location: Fort McMurray, Alberta
- Shift schedule: 8 days on, 6 days off, 10-hour shifts
- Safety sensitive position: Yes

Key Accountabilities:
- Provide direction and support in the areas of labour relations, labour legislation interpretation, collective agreement application, labour policies, practices and procedures
- Liaise and coordinate Labour Relations matters with all contractors, unions, and labour relations associations
- Take on a supportive role in labour/employee relations issue prevention and/or resolution
- Build and maintain relationships with key external organizations, institutions, associations, and governmental agencies that affect labour/employee relations
- Act as an LR resource both internally and externally, with a focus on developing, advising and coaching
- Proactively plan and strategize effective project management for key activities like turnarounds
- Provide expertise and advice on collective agreements, union negotiations, grievances and arbitration
- Create, implement and oversee effective LR policies and procedures
What You Bring to the Role:
- Human Resources education degree or diploma, with a specialization in Labour Relations
- 7+ years of LR/HR related work experience
- Working knowledge of Employment Standards and Federal Labour relations practices for Alberta
- Experience working with the complexities of unionized work environment
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships through a collaborative, tactful methodology
- CPHR is an asset
