About The Role We’re looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Salesforce Application Developer. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions to meet business needs, including building custom applications, integrating Salesforce with other systems, and optimizing existing processes to enhance functionality and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technical feasibility, quality, and scalability while directly contributing to user satisfaction and organizational growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce solutions, including Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and integrations with third-party applications.
  • Manage day-to-day Salesforce platform support, including troubleshooting, resolving incidents, and addressing enhancement requests.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions and technical designs.
  • Ensure data integrity and security by implementing Salesforce best practices, such as role hierarchies, sharing rules, and field-level security.
  • Participate in production releases, including code deployments and post-release testing, while maintaining system uptime and stability.
  • Refactor existing code to enhance performance and scalability while minimizing technical debt.
  • Partner with QA teams to develop automated testing frameworks, reducing configuration errors and ensuring robust deployments.
  • Implement cutting-edge Salesforce features (e.g., Lightning Web Components, advanced API usage) to enhance system capabilities.
  • Mentor junior developers on Salesforce best practices and emerging technologies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing Salesforce solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Platform features.
  • Proven experience with Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce API integrations.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Gearset, GIT, Copado, or Jenkins.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II or Salesforce Application Architect certification.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security, including OAuth, SSO, and role hierarchy configurations.

Current Location : Mississauga. Our Mississauga office will move to 1 Adelaide in Toronto in September 2026.

The hiring base salary range for this position is $99,200 - $136,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
