We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic (Licensed Electrician) to join our Bermondsey manufacturing operations team. Job Summary
In this role, you'll play a critical part in keeping our production equipment, facility systems, and infrastructure operating safely, reliably, and efficiently. Your expertise will directly support production performance, product quality, and customer satisfaction by minimizing downtime and improving equipment reliability.

Work Type: Full-Time | Permanent Work Schedule: 12-hour continental Day shift, with modified training schedule Starting Salary: $49.94/hour What You'll Do
- Equipment Reliability & Maintenance Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues. Support equipment uptime and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure maintenance work is completed according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Facility & Infrastructure Support Maintain facility equipment and plant infrastructure. Support repairs and upgrades to building systems and utilities. Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment. Follow spare parts inventory and maintenance processes.
- Safety, Quality & Compliance Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety. Follow all Health, Safety, Environmental, and ISO requirements. Complete maintenance documentation using CMMS systems. Participate in audits, investigations, and continuous improvement activities. Promote and maintain 5S standards throughout the facility.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications Ontario or Interprovincial Electrician certification (442A, 309A or Red Seal) Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Experience working with industrial equipment and production machinery. Proven commitment to safe work practices. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Dual-ticket certification (Millwright and Electrician) Experience in plastic manufacturing or injection moulding environments. Strong hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience. Experience using CMMS systems.
Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies

Working Conditions
Incumbent spends almost 100% of their time in the plant environment requiring varying degrees of considerable physical labor, lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects (50-75 lbs.), standing and walking covers majority of the work. Personal safety is affected by exposure to heat, dust, noise levels and the use of equipment such as sharp blades. Moderate amount of sensory attention is required. Limited control of work pace and unexpected workflow brings considerable stresses to this position.
