Shape the Future of Strategic Procurement in Contract Logistics Step into a high-impact leadership role where your sourcing expertise drives real results across Canada’s Contract Logistics network. As National Sourcing Manager, you’ll lead procurement initiatives focused on indirect and capital spend categories—including Temporary Staffing Agencies, Material Handling Equipment (MHE), and Packaging/Supplies—delivering cost efficiency, service excellence, and operational improvement across multiple sites.

You’ll own the full sourcing lifecycle: identifying savings opportunities, executing competitive bids, negotiating contracts, and guiding seamless implementation. This role requires close alignment with internal stakeholders and strict adherence to global procurement policies, ensuring every initiative delivers measurable value.

How you create impact

  • Lead national sourcing initiatives for indirect and capital spend categories across Contract Logistics operations.
  • Manage the full procurement lifecycle from opportunity identification to implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with global procurement policies and alignment with internal stakeholders.
  • Drive cost savings, operational efficiency, and supplier performance.
  • Support tactical sourcing and continuous improvement across KN Locations.
  • Coordinate and support the business guidance around spend related activities at national and branch level, whilst aligning to global initiatives.
  • Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements.
  • Implement sourcing solutions across multiple logistics sites, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption.
  • Collaborate, Partnering & Manage the Global procurement team
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics affecting sourcing decisions.

What we would like you to bring

  • Candidates with a high school diploma or associate degree or bachelor’s degree and substantial relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
  • 3-5 years in a similar role/position desirable
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)
  • Proficient MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook)
  • Proven ability to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous tasks
  • Demonstrates strong networking and interpersonal skills and professionalism to deal with all levels of personnel
