About the Role
Uber Canada is looking for a highly analytical and motivated individual to join our Mobility Operations team. As part of one of Uber's most important Ridesharing markets, this role will have an immediate impact on our business strategy and marketplace performance. You'll work closely with leadership to shape strategic direction, lead key initiatives, and develop innovative, data-driven solutions that enhance our rider and driver experience-particularly through insights generation and incentives strategy. You'll need to have the curiosity to dive deep on critical business issues, and the foresight to understand how our decisions today will impact our business tomorrow.
About the Team
The Marketplace & Planning team is responsible for Canada P&L, pricing, incentives, and strategic planning for the Mobility business in Canada. Additionally, the team leads the low-cost product portfolio in Canada which includes Share and Wait & Save. This role sits within a high-impact, high-visibility team requiring strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to own projects from strategy through to execution.
What You Will Do

- Drive Strategic Initiatives: Lead high-impact projects that shape Uber Canada's Mobility strategy, including the development and execution of rider incentive programs and marketplace optimization efforts.
- Develop Data-Driven Insights: Analyze complex datasets to provide actionable recommendations to leadership, directly influencing Uber Canada's P&L and informing key business decisions.
- Optimize Resource Allocation: Build advanced models and frameworks to guide effective capital allocation across the Canadian markets
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product, marketing, operations, and analytics teams to implement and scale new programs and product rollouts, aligning initiatives with customer needs and business objectives.
- Generate Actionable Marketplace Insights: Stay attuned to market dynamics across Canada, developing strategies to adapt to changing conditions and maintain Uber's competitive edge.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree Required
- 1+ years' of professional work experience in a related field such as operations, marketing analytics, consulting, technology, strategy, or analytics
- SQL & Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
Preferred Qualifications

2-4 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, business intelligence, strategy or related experience

Working knowledge in applying SQL, Python, R, Stata or similar statistical languages and tools

Proficiency in French is a plus

High-growth operations or startup experience is strongly preferred

Customer service experience - you will be working closely with earners and ensuring they have any amazing experience on the Uber platform

Phenomenal collaborator, and someone who proactively works across teams, able to influence senior and external stakeholders

Storytelling through Data: Transform data analyses into an understandable storyline across tech and non-tech audiences in order to influence business decisions

For Canada-based roles: The base salary range for this role is CAD$89,000 per year - CAD$99,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
