Production Coordinator

Position Overview:
The Production Coordinator main responsibility is to ensure the plant doesn’t ran out of work and Production Orders are delivered completely on time. Accurate and timely report preparation, comprehensive record keeping and smooth flow of work within or between departments. This role is aligned with Raw Materials, Production Planning, and Inventory Control and requires attention to details, high degree of accuracy and data integrity. Concise monitoring and advisement of production status are considered essential.
What You’ll Do:
- Update sequence and status of Style plan; highlighting top priority order for production reference and visibility
- Maintain Pre-Production Dashboard per line to determine bulk and line production priority
- Conducts Planning & PIT Stop (pre-production) meeting weekly
- Issues Raw Materials requests for additional requirements due to changes in BOMs, shortages, or any other cause such as missing, defective, or damaged during production.
- Issues Raw Materials request, check manuals and materials availability for Pre-production Samples requirements.
- Communicate daily with the production staff on site to address and resolve any issues from pre-production up to post shipments.
- Closely follow up the WIP status to ensure the on-time delivery of Purchase order (MPO) assigned to respected facility
- Coordinate with External department particularly replenishment planning, logistics, Inventory Control (both Finished Goods & Raw Materials) of any issues or concern relating to production orders per line,
- Follow up and coordinate the availability of materials with Replenishment Planning and/or Logistics.
- Coordinate and follow-up with Raw material Hub the preparation, picking and issuance of Raw Materials.
- Prepares list collected from sites any overage materials for the monthly Inventory Sweep.
- Coordinate with Cutting Department for any cut goods, re-cuts, or fabric required for the plant to continue with our daily production without any interruptions.
- Perform monthly down reconciliation. Comparison of site inventory and WIP against system on hand in D365.
- Purchase raw materials required that are not included in the BOM (threads & washers).
- Prepare thread Sheets from line requirement to thread issuance
- Help and respond on finished goods and packing issues.
- Coordinate with Central Storage issuance of materials, inventory, WIP, Raw materials and shortages.
- Ensure that respective cut kits per line are properly issued and maintain
- Collect, review and monitor cycle counting conducted by the warehouse
- Other departmental tasks as required.
Let's Talk About You:
- 2 years of experience in Production Planning and Control or Inventory Control
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, or Textile Manufacturing or related course
- Previous experience on sewing manufacturing preferred
- Excellent technical skills including MS Office, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software, and Microsoft Dynamics D365
- Strong written and verbal communication skills- proficiency to communicate in other languages considered a plus
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
- Ability to prioritize, operate proactively and work as a team to handle challenges
- Excellent decision making abilities, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to evaluate options and generate effective solutions
- Confident, goal oriented, and self motivated
