Financial Analyst

Location: Windsor, ON

Resumes for the position of "Financial Analyst", ENWIN Utilities Ltd., will be received by the Human Resources Department up to and including Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

Reporting to the Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and implementing process and efficiency improvements and ensuring the integrity of financial information through reconciliations, variance analysis and reporting. This position is responsible to support and advise business units on new initiatives, evolving standards and financial requirements. The Financial Analyst is responsible for day-to-day functions of the Finance Department including items such as, but not limited to, reviewing payment runs and bank reconciliations, reviewing and posting journal entries, reviewing financial results with various departments within the company, aiding the completion of month end deliverables, and advising on special projects as required. The Financial Analyst plays a key role in the annual financial audit and budgeting processes and exhibits the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization. This role maintains a high level of confidentiality at all times.

The successful applicant must have the following skills and competencies:

  • University Degree in Business
  • Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
  • Knowledge of Regulatory accounting or accounting experience in an Ontario energy organization Canadian Payroll Certification, and/or Project Management and Change Management certifications are considered an asset.
  • University courses with a focus on Accounting considered an asset
  • Minimum three (3) years' related experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative cross-functional team environment.
  • Advanced knowledge and application of IFRS accounting standards
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a constantly fluctuating workload with the capability of adhering to strict time deadlines.
  • Experience working with a variety of computer systems including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel) and SAP or comparable ERP system (with good understanding of accounting ledgers, application processes, financial reporting, reporting tools) and NorthStar or comparable CIS system would be an asset

Salary Range for Qualified Candidates: $101,043 – $112,270
